A few weeks ago when I was visiting Utah I was able to go to the Salt Lake Parade of Homes with my sis-in-laws and Mom. We had a great time and saw some beautiful houses (even barged in on a dinner party, thinking it was a Parade of Homes – funny story, anyone else ever done that or are we the only ones??) but my favorite part of the tour was visiting the “Up” house. It was a re-make of the home used in the Disney movie “Up” and it was adorable!
We got there later in the evening, I wish we would have been there earlier so I could have gotten some better pictures, but I was able to snag the paint colors and I’m going to share them with you.
Isn’t it cute? I love the white picket fence and you know what, I even love the paint colors. They are fun and they put a smile on my face. Wouldn’t this be every kids dream house?
Below I listed the paint colors – all from Kwal.
1. Centered CL1793M
2. Ice Wine CL2352W
3. Taffeta CL 2463W
4. Nolan CL 1532W
5. Sedum CL1973D
We were there on one of the last nights of the tour, and it was busy, with lots of people.
I loved all of the balloons.
The mailbox was adorable.
Carl and Russell even greeted us on the steps.
Only a few of the pictures I took turned out, there were so many people and the lighting wasn’t that great, but here is the sweet nursery Ellie was seen painting in the movie.
Paint color: Banana Cream by Sherwin Williams (makes me want to lick the walls!)
Carl and Ellie’s room.
I especially love the kitchen! Don’t you love those bright blue appliances?
The main paint color that was used throughout the house was Kilim Beige by Sherwin Williams.
Another adorable room.
Paint color: Possibly Pink by Sherwin Williams
Vast Sky by Sherwin Williams
Very fitting name, don’t you think?
What a great movie – they even had it playing downstairs in the theater room.
If you want more information on the “Up” house, visit Bangerter Homes. Apparently it’s selling for $399,000 and when we were there I heard there were already 4 offers. You can have the same home built for $299,000, without the “Up” charm.
Julia at Hooked On Houses also did a post here.
I hope you have a memorable and safe Labor Day weekend!
