Happy 2019 my friends! I love January and the New Year. New goals, new possibilities, new projects, a new YOU. Along with changing yourself for the better, comes the ability to change your home into a place that you LOVE. Your wall colors are all around you. If you don’t love them, it makes it pretty hard to love the space you are in. As you well know, paint color plays a huge role into making your house a home. The 2019 paint colors from Benjamin Moore make it easy to pick out a shade that will transform your home into a space you will love to be.
Today I am sharing with you my favorite colors from the 2019 Benjamin Moore paint color palette. Do you ever see a color you adore, but you don’t know how you would incorporate it into your home? I would love to help with that!
Here are my favorite shades from the 2019 Benjamin Moore color palette. (See the full color palette here) Aren’t they gorgeous!?!
I always love looking at new/different shades of paint, but sometimes it’s hard to know what room to add them. I am here to give you ideas of where I would add these colors if it were my home, and to also provide examples of how that might look.
The first color on the list…Balboa Mist by Benjamin Moore.
Balboa Mist is a beautiful warm gray that would seriously look good in any space.
Balboa Mist by Benjamin Moore, looks beautiful in this entryway and is a great whole house color.
Next is Beau Green, which is a darker teal that I see looking great on an island or laundry room cabinets.
Something like this…
Black Pepper is another great shade from Benjamin Moore’s 2019 color palette. If I were to use Black Pepper in my home, I think it would look dreamy in a guest bedroom with bright white trim. Maybe with Cloud White, also a shade included in the 2019 color palette that happens to be one of my favorites.
We just sampled multiple shades of pink paint colors, and Head Over Heels was one of them. I know exactly what I would do with soft pink color.
A pretty pink girls room or nursery. Our daughter’s room is painted pink and I love it with a bright white and gold gold accents, just like this room from House of Jade Interiors.
Hale Navy. It’s a very popular color from Benjamin Moore that I have seen used in so many spaces. Cabinets, accent walls, offices, but one of my very favorites is on an exterior. Just like this one from The Happy Housie.
Metropolitan. This is actually THE 2019 color of the year. Benjamin Moore picked a beautiful blue/gray neutral that looks great virtually anywhere. I love it in this dining room.
Hunter Green. Furniture. Love. Love. Love. Need I say more?
Pashmina is another one of my favorite neutrals that tends to me more on the beige side. If you are trying to get away from stark gray, and want a bit more color, Pashmina could be your answer. In my house, I would put it in a basement with lower light to warm up the space, similar to the picture above.
Kendall Charcoal was the number one paint color of 2018 at Favorite Paint Colors. I just posted about it here, with inspirational ideas of how to use it. You can not go wrong with Kendall Charcoal.
Putnam Ivory is a creamy, more yellow neutral that looks great with wood cabinets and floors. It is one of my favorite paint colors to go with wood trim and cabinets.
Soft Fern. I love soft green colors in bathrooms, such as the picture above. This would also look beautiful in a bedroom as well. Soft Fern also pairs well with stained wood or white trim. It’s a great versatile color.
These are my favorite 2019 Benjamin Moore Paint Colors. If you are like me, you have a project list a mile long, which most likely involves paint in some way. Also, you might be stuck on a color- these 12 shades are a great place to start. Let’s make our home a place that we love to be, one color at a time. Happy painting!
