Happy October my friends! I hope it’s been good to everyone so far. We had winter come early last weekend with freezing temperatures and SNOW! We felt like it was December, not late September/early October, but this week it warmed up, our snowman melted and I’m hoping and praying for a beautiful October.
One of my favorite things about fall is the decorating. Last year at this time, this is where we were at with our house…
It’s amazing what can happen in a year! I sure have loved being able to focus on the decorating instead of the building/painting/moving process. It’s always good to look back and see progress that’s been made.
Today I wanted to share our simple front porch, along with other fall front porches for inspiration, great paint colors, and decor ideas.
Like I said, our porch is simple. I bought a few containers at Michael’s and Lowe’s, used a gift card I had for my mums, and then combined a Magnolia wreath I bought at Pier 1 with a $10 wreath from Walmart. My kids remind me daily that we are still in need of pumpkins, and are going to venture out to our local pumpkin patch sometime this week to grab some. I feel like October is going to fast already!
The paint colors for our front porch are Web Gray at 150% and Alabaster, both by Sherwin-Williams.
Here are a few other favorite fall front porch ideas for you enjoyment. 🙂
